Local technology companies grows its data centre and IT services business with strategic acquisition

Winnipeg, Manitoba: Today, Oxygen Technologies, an Information Technology company provides technology support and enablement to companies throughout Canada from its offices in Winnipeg and Saskatoon, announced the conclusion of the acquisition of On-Call Solutions, a local technology consulting company offering data centre, software development and technology support services.

After two years of 30%+ annual organic growth, Oxygen saw the opportunity to acquire On-Call Solutions as a way to further accelerate its growth by adding over 100 new clients to its portfolio. “We see a consolidation happening in our industry across North America,” explains Glen Buhler, Chief Executive Officer of Oxygen Technologies. “We have spent the last several years honing our approach and service delivery model, and I believe that we have an answer to the question companies are asking – ‘how can technology enable my business to disrupt my industry?’ We see the acquisition [of On-Call Solutions] as an opportunity to bring our unique approach to technology success to new clients en-masse, and set the stage for future acquisitions both here in Winnipeg and across the country.”

Sean Habing, Owner of On-Call Solutions, says the time was right to look at transitioning his customer base to a larger, more established player in the industry.

Oxygen will be absorbing On-Call Solutions employees, and honoring all existing agreements – including pricing – for the minimum of 12 months.
