Oxygen’s IT Support Technicians in both our Winnipeg and Saskatchewan offices work with our clients to respond to both Requests (tickets that our more than 7,500 end-users submit to receive technical support) and Incidents (system outages or situations identified by our Remote Monitoring & Management platform that need to be remediated). Our On-Demand and Planned Engagement Teams are the ‘superheros’ of Oxygen, and ensure our clients reach their productivity potential.

Tier I Technicians – Perfect for gaining experience across a variety of technologies, including networking, servers, desktop support and even security!

Tier II Technicians – Take on the more challenging tickets, diving into cloud technologies, servers, storage, networking, application support, security, backups, desktop support and more

Tier III Technicians – As the senior technicians within our technology support group, you will take the most challenging of problems across all types of devices and technology. The career path for a Tier III technician is to move into our Projects department, implementing new technology solutions and getting involved with network architecture and a wide variety of exciting opportunities!

Planned Engagement Technicians – These team members get proactive with our clients, and enjoy a pre-scheduled calendar full of appointments to interact with our clients at their office locations to perform preventative maintenance, engage in discussions around technology innovation, and optimize network infrastructure.

Managed Services Team – Our Managed Services team administers the tools that empower the rest of our team to provide our clients with the most consistent and predictable IT experience possible. Deploying and developing our Remote Management & Monitoring platform, as well as our Managed Backup and End-Point Production offerings are all in a days work for this team.

Service Coordinator – Our Service Coordinator works diligently to triage and schedule tickets to ensure that our Service Level Agreements and Performance Metrics are met. As the first point of contact for Oxygen’s more than 325 clients, the Service Coordinator shows empathy and understanding when receiving requests by phone or email.

Who doesn’t like building new, or upgrading existing, technology environments? Our Projects Team completes approximately 150 projects every year, ranging from Microsoft Office 365 migrations, to Server Virtualization projects, to Network Implementations, to Security Threat Remediation and more!

Project Implementation Specialists – Simply put, our Project Implementation Specialists take a Statement of Work that is built by our Solutions Architecture team and build it! Servers, Storage, Applications, Office 365, Azure / Cloud Platforms, Backups, Desktops – they do it all, and act as the most senior escalation point for the Planned and On-Demand teams.

Project Managers – As one of the most challenging roles within the Oxygen team, the Project Manager works with clients and Oxygen’s technical resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the technical specifications required. Time and resource management are important, but it is the customer service focus that really sets Oxygen’s Project Managers apart.

Oxygen’s Solutions Architecture team is involved any time a new client or project is being discussed. Whether performing a full Network Audit and developing a remediation plan or building a Statement of Work for a network overhaul, creativity and the ability to identify a business case is vital, as is a deep technical understanding of the overall picture of Information Technology.

You’ve heard the phrase ‘nothing happens without a sale’, and that is true in Oxygen’s business as well. Our Winnipeg-based Sales Department creates opportunities for our technical staff to do what they do best, both by acquiring new clients, as well as helping existing clients achieve technology success through through the procurement of new hardware, software and other technology initiatives.

Business Development – Our hard-working Business Development team finds new clients through a combination of face-to-face networking, leveraging social media, coordinating marketing events and technology education experiences, as well as good, old-fashioned door knocking.

Account Executives – If working with an engaged group of clients to help them get the technology they need to grow their business sounds like fun to you, you would have a blast working in our Account Executive team! Not to mention attending hockey games, technology conferences and a variety of other events together with your client base, and enjoying a strong relationship with leading companies throughout Canada. No cold calling, just helping our clients achieve maximum technology success!

The Winnipeg-based Accounting & Administration team is the ‘glue’ that holds all of our other departments together. Through the use of technology, Oxygen’s Accounting & Administration team is small (only 3 people, our smallest team!) but mighty, and coordinates tasks such as Accounting, Accounts Receivable collections, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Human Resources and Shipping / Receiving. The rest of the Oxygen family appreciates and respects all of the work the Accounting & Administration team does in the background that enables each team member to do what they do best.
